Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using My English Sarah Kids or creating a Parent Account, you agree to these terms as an adult with legal authority to manage the account and Child Profiles. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

2. Parent Account and Child Profiles

Children do not create independent accounts. You are responsible for accurate account and profile information, protecting the password and parent PIN, appropriately supervising child use, and telling us if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Educational nature

The service supports English learning for children approximately 4–12 through content, activities, games, and pronunciation practice. Results vary by child; we do not guarantee a grade, fluency level, test result, or particular progress. The service is not a substitute for school or professional assessment.

4. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully, safely, and for personal family purposes. Do not access accounts or data without permission, disrupt or security-test the service without approval, submit harmful or unlawful material, scrape content, resell the service, or bypass subscription and security controls.

5. Subscriptions and access

Some features may require a paid subscription and a selected number of Child Profile seats. Duration, price, currency, and available renewal terms are shown before purchase. Apple, Google, or Stripe subscriptions may renew automatically; Flouci and bank transfers are separate payments that require a new renewal purchase when offered.

Cancelling renewal does not normally delete the account, and access continues until the paid period ends unless a refund, dispute, or account deletion ends it earlier. Account deletion ends service access immediately and may still require the parent to cancel an Apple or Google subscription in store settings to stop renewal.

6. Payment, cancellation, and refunds

The provider that processed the payment controls the cancellation and refund channel. Apple and Google purchases are managed through the store account; transactions completed through the website, including those processed by Stripe, are governed by the processor and the payment arrangement used at the time of purchase; and Flouci and bank-transfer cases are handled through review, support, and the payment method’s rules. We do not promise a fixed refund window beyond mandatory rights or provider rules. See Billing, Cancellation & Refunds for practical details.

7. Content and intellectual property

The app, website, design, text, artwork, audio, video, games, curriculum, and marks belong to LEARN WITH SARAH LTD or licensed rights holders. We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for non-commercial family learning while your access is valid.

8. Third-party services

Third parties support specific functions such as sign-in, speech scoring, notifications, payments, email, and storage. Their terms and policies may apply to their direct relationship with the parent. Use of a provider does not transfer ownership of My English Sarah Kids content or authorise it to use child data for advertising on our behalf.

9. Privacy and data

The Privacy Policy explains the data we process, including Child Profile and pronunciation data, parent rights, and deletion choices. It complements these terms without changing mandatory rights.

10. Availability and changes

We may update the service or content, or temporarily suspend a feature for maintenance, security, or development. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. If we materially change these terms, we will update the date and may notify the parent appropriately.

11. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using the service, cancel renewal, or delete the account. We may restrict access for a breach, security risk, fraud, payment dispute, or to protect users and the service, subject to law and consumer rights. Account deletion is permanent and differs from cancelling renewal.

12. Liability, law, and contact

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when use began. These terms do not exclude liability, warranties, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable law governs while preserving mandatory rights in your country of residence; we do not invent an unsupported jurisdiction or arbitration clause.
