The experience is primarily designed for children aged 4 to 12, with a visual, interactive path that advances with the child step by step. Each child has their own profile and progress, and each child can move forward at their own pace. A child profile can be created for any child aged 4 to 15, so a slightly older learner is not turned away.
Yes. No prior English is assumed. Your child starts with listening, images and simple words, then moves gradually to pronunciation, sentences, and using them inside stories and activities.
No. The beginning doesn’t depend on your child being able to read — many activities rely on listening, images, pronunciation and interaction. Reading then enters gradually along the journey.
The experience is designed around short sessions rather than long lessons. What matters is coming back regularly, not spending a long time in one sitting — we want your child to learn while they’re still keen to come back tomorrow.
Most of the experience is built so a child can move forward and interact on their own once they’re used to it. Younger children may need a little help at the start, while you can follow their progress from the parent account without sitting through every lesson.
No. The parent area is designed to show you what matters, clearly: what your child learned, how they’re progressing, and what needs more review. You don’t have to be an English teacher to support them.
That’s fine. Each child has a separate profile and their own progress journey, so the children in one family can learn at different speeds without one child’s progress affecting another’s.
From the parent account you can follow their progress, see the words and sentences they’ve learned, find where they need more review, and read clear reports that help you support them.
No. The app has no ad networks and no personalised ads for children, and there is no open chat, user-to-user messaging or public profile. The account is managed by the parent, and the subscription and settings live in the parent area.
Only in pronunciation activities, and only after a parent has agreed to it in the parent area. Nothing records in the background: your child taps the microphone themselves. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and every other activity stays available.
